Heatley Mere On Song

Member Tom Uttley has landed this great fish on Heatley Mere, we'll leave it Tom...
What an eventful day on the mere finally landed my target fish the orange one at 20.3lb!!!!
Big thanks to Mark who stripped down and jumped in when I almost lost it in the Lilly's
both of us in the water (me up to my chest Mark completely under) trying to land the fish.
You just had to see it to appreciate the work that went into that fish!

6lb Brownnie caught on Byley Dane

Member Ste Daley caught this 6lb Brownie on the River Dane in a two hour evening session. Ste tells us he caught it using a Greys Barble Prodigy rod
trotting on maggot and worm in mid river slack at around 5 foot of depth ..... Took me nearly 20 minutes to land and was returned safe and sound
after a long rest.
